Wondering what I drive for an everyday car???? This is my 1991 Honda Accord LX that
I originally thought would be a dream come true to have as an every day car. I bought the car in July of
2005 with 45,000 original miles. I'm thinking, this is great, I'll have a dependable car that I won't have
worry about fixing. Especially right after I wreck my 240SX. Ummmm, not so much.
I ended up replacing most of the OEM Honda parts that are listed below (and one back glass... it's a long story)
in the first three months of owning the car. It is mainly due to the fact the car was never driven on the Interstate,
let alone above 55mph. The motor mounts were literally falling off the car while going down I-85!
Overall, the "Beige Plague" has become a dependable car to drive everyday now that most working
parts have been replaced. I've finally started adding a few features which makes it fun to take places, especially since
I've installed the keyless entry/security system and the new audio system. More modifications to come... and maybe even
a new paint job!
